Great Clip

It's Chinese New Year  (Mr. Fliz this is your year...so watch out) today and it almost marks a year from my very last article I had written for the Examiner. Unfortunately, I got struck with a mild case of morning sickness during my pregnancy with Micron and Micro was 15 months old and becoming a crazy, dazy toddler. Suffice to say, it was very difficult to continue to write (especially conducting interviews professionally) when you have a screaming toddler in the background and dealing with nausea. So I had to stop writing articles and focus on having a healthy pregnancy and guiding a wee one into toddlerhood. Don't worry, I'll be back to write. Someday.

However, can you tell a difference in the above photos? Yes, one of those photos is unlike the other. Mr. Fliz and Micro got their haircuts together for the first time. It was quite a rough ride in the beginning (I think Micro wasn't used to having Daddy bring him and there was a busy crowd in Great Clips--(hello!! they had a $8.99 special-everyone and their mamas were there); I had to push Micron around in the stroller to keep her content. I really appreciate Mr. Fliz wearing coordinating pants with Micro--even though I had to plead with him to. See, isn't it cute?
