Thursday was a "crapola" day. I had a terrible day with both kids and I was on the verge of tears. It's been a long week and Micron has been a poor day napper. But, we made progress today and I swear that this lady knows what she's talking about. I ABSOLUTELY encourage anyone who has problems having their kids take naps or sleep through the night to read it. Her suggested techniques worked on Micro when he was just 2 months old and he's been an INCREDIBLE sleeper ever since.
Things have been super hectic and busy at our household and sleep training was put off for a bit with Micron, so her napping schedules are off. However, she sleeps through the night. The girl only takes cat naps and it kills me. Kills me, I tell ya. So I began to pay more attention to her sleep cues, despite my ever-so-annoying toddler getting in the way. It's hard to have two kids and I really bow my head down to those who've been there and done that. I decided a Valentine's day post was in order to clear the fatigue and, "Mommy's in a foul mood" cloud that has been hanging over me this past week.
So today's post will be in honor of celebrating something along the lines of Valentine's Day, but not the kind of love shared between people. I'm talking about things that have nothing to do with Mr. Fliz or my kids. Above is a collage (I could have made a MUCH larger collage) of things that bring me great joy and inspiration, apart from my hubs and kiddos. They are all pictures from when the hubs and I went on our last trip before I got pregnant with Micro. We had gone to Spain in the fall and had an amazing time driving through the country. I heart Barcelona!!
