Airplane! Airplane! Airplane!

Micron has a fascination with airplanes. We live very close to the airport and hear them overhead often. Each time, Micron yells with excitement, "Ear-plane!" Her eyes grow big and wide, head tipped back, searching the vast blue sky for that roaring engine. It's so cute to watch her.

We'll be getting back onto an airplane in the summer when we visit my in-laws in the East Coast. We've got a long vacation planned to North Carolina and Virginia. We're also anticipating the opening of CARS LAND in California Land. I know Micro is brimming with excitement. We've got our first Disneyland trip planned before end of summer and though I'm a bit anxious, I'm hoping we'll survive all the over-stimulation.

First Sleepover and Easter brunch

This is so past due, but I wanted to share with you snippets of our perfect Easter brunch (catered none other than by my fabulous sister and her fiance who also provided Mimosas). Take a look below for food shots and descriptions.

Also, Micro had his first official sleepover with someone other than grandparents. He had a blast with his cousin and Ninang. Mr. Fliz and I got some quality time with Micron. She definitely enjoyed the lone attention but missed her Kuya. Hope everyone managed to have a wonderful Easter and a quick shout out to my gf from my old job who just had their 4th baby and it's a boy--after a streak of girls! Congrats!

It's been hard posting lately as we've been keeping busy, and this past weekend, we got our first swim of the season at our pool. Mother Nature blessed us surprisingly with 80 degree weather and the great outdoors calls.
